Content Moderation
At Aura Digital B.V., we are committed to keeping FlirtVault a safe, lawful, and respectful service. This Content Moderation & Monitoring Policy explains what content and conduct are prohibited, how we monitor and moderate the Service, and how we handle reports — including of illegal content — in accordance with EU law, in particular the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, “DSA”) and applicable Dutch and EU rules on the protection of minors.
This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions and our AI Content Disclaimer.
1. Age requirements and access controls
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service. We apply an age gate on entry and may request further age-verification information at any time. Providing false information about your age is a breach of our Terms and may result in immediate suspension without refund. If you believe a minor has accessed the Service, contact us immediately at help@flirtvault.com so we can investigate and block access.
2. Content and conduct standards
You must not use the Service to generate, request, share, or attempt to produce content that:
- depicts, sexualises, or in any way exploits minors, or otherwise resembles a minor, however the request is framed;
- depicts non-consensual sexual activity, incest, bestiality, or sexual violence presented as acceptable or desirable;
- constitutes non-consensual intimate imagery or a “deepfake” depicting an identifiable real person without their consent;
- impersonates a real, identifiable person in a misleading or harmful way;
- promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, or serious violence;
- promotes hatred, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics;
- provides instructions for illegal activity, including production of weapons, drugs, or other unlawful goods;
- infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of a third party;
- is otherwise illegal under the law applicable to you or to the Netherlands.
Full detail on prohibited content categories is set out in our Terms and Conditions (Acceptable Use) and applies equally to this Policy.
3. How we moderate
3.1 Automated controls. We use automated moderation tools to screen prompts and generated output in real time and, where appropriate, to block or alter a response before it is delivered.
3.2 Human review. Content flagged by our automated systems, or reported by a user, may be reviewed by a trained member of our safety team. Human review is applied in particular to potential violations involving minors or illegal content.
3.3 Enforcement actions. Where we determine that content or conduct breaches our Policies, we may, depending on severity: issue a warning; remove or block the content; restrict features; suspend or permanently terminate the account, without refund of consumed credits; and, where legally required or appropriate, report the matter to law enforcement or the relevant authority.
3.4 Quality assurance. We may also review a limited sample of interactions for quality assurance and to improve moderation accuracy, subject to our Privacy Policy.
4. Reporting illegal content (notice-and-action)
In line with the DSA’s notice-and-action requirements, anyone — user or non-user — can report suspected illegal content to us at help@flirtvault.com, providing: a description of the content and why it is considered illegal; its location within the Service (e.g. account or session reference, if known); and the reporter’s contact details (optional, for anonymous reports, though this may limit our ability to follow up).
We will:
- acknowledge receipt without undue delay;
- assess the report diligently, objectively, and in a non-arbitrary manner;
- notify the reporter of our decision and the reasons for it; and
- inform the person who submitted the content of any restriction, where legally required and technically appropriate, along with information on how to contest the decision (see our Complaints Policy).
Response times. We treat all reports of suspected illegal content as urgent. Content confirmed as CSAM is removed immediately (see Section 5). All other confirmed illegal content — including non-consensual intimate imagery, content resembling a real identifiable person generated without consent, and any other content prohibited by Section 2 — is removed within 24 hours of confirmation, and in any event no later than 48 hours from receipt of a report containing sufficient information to act on it. We log every report, the action taken, and the time taken to act, and this log is available to our payment service providers and acquiring bank on request, consistent with card-scheme content-compliance requirements for this category of service.
5. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
We have a zero-tolerance policy toward CSAM and any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors. Attempting to generate such content is illegal and strictly prohibited. Where we identify or receive a credible report of CSAM, we will remove the content immediately, suspend the account, and report the matter to the relevant Dutch or EU authority (for example, the Dutch hotline EOKM / Meldpunt Kinderporno, meldpunt-kinderporno.nl, part of the INHOPE network) and, where appropriate, to the police (politie.nl) or Europol, in addition to any equivalent reporting obligations that apply outside the EU.
6. Point of contact for authorities and users
In accordance with the DSA, Aura Digital B.V. designates the following as its point of contact for EU Member State authorities, the European Commission, and users: help@flirtvault.com. Communications may be made in Dutch or English.
7. Reporting intellectual property infringement
If you believe content generated through the Service infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, contact us at help@flirtvault.com with:
- identification of the copyrighted or trademarked work you believe has been infringed;
- identification and location of the allegedly infringing content on the Service (e.g. account or session reference, if known);
- evidence of your ownership or authority to act on the rights holder’s behalf; and
- your contact information.
We will investigate promptly and remove or restrict access to the content where appropriate, and will inform you of the outcome.
8. Appeals
If we take enforcement action against your content or account, you may appeal the decision through our Complaints Policy. Appeals are handled by a person or team not involved in the original decision, where practicable.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
